I just finished my 35 treatments, I stayed at the PML I couldn't have done it without them! My husband was two years ago.. This time I bought right at the PMH maybe it will change my luck, If I won this I would move right away.. Best of luck to everyone and remember life is to short so take care of your self as best as you can.. " - Marie M.
- "To Mike M. I am appalled at your comments. The main reason for buying a ticket should be to help with research that will lead to better care, knowledge and eventually a cure. We are all winners when that day comes. Of course, all of us want to win, but that should be secondary. Keep buying those tickets and let's have fun dreaming. Somebody has to win. " - Rose S.
- "Love my man cave, just kidding my wife and kids would be up every weekend. " - Ron C.
- "I had called my dad on July 1, 2011, which was my birthday, to say the girls had saved up some money to take me to Muskoka for 3 days. I asked how his doctor's appointment went and he said he would talk to me later. I knew it was bad and I knew he not want to ruin my weekend, but I needed to know. I pressed him and he mentioned the little pain in his back turned out to be pancreatic cancer (passed stage 4). This gave him only a few months to go. We turned the car around and went back to his home to give him a hug. He and I spent many a day fishing rivers and lakes. He instilled this love for nature in me and I am passing it on to my daughter. We were lucky in a sense because we had time to talk about what we did right and what we did wrong in life. To watch him dissolve in front of me was hard, but what was the most torture was to see him not be able to see his grand-daughter, because he did not want her to see him being taken by this disease. I cannot thank the nurses and doctor's enough for what they did for my dad in terms of easing his suffering and giving him the dignity he deserved. I miss my dad. I want to go fishing with him one more time." - Stevan P.
- "The neighbors on either side are really nice people and easy to get along with. I should know as I am on 1 side and great friends on the other " - Gail A.
